PS Meeting 2005: Winning Eleven PSP Quick-Look

Aside from possibly Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core and Comic Party, the biggest PSP title at Sony's PlayStation Meeting in Tokyo was Winning Eleven 9: Ubiquitous Evolution. Ignoring the odd Japanese name, this game promises to recreate Konami's award-winning Winning Eleven series on Sony's portable PlayStation system.

Series producer Shingo Takatsuka took the stage at the event and spoke a little about the new game, then unveiled a short, 30 second trailer. We managed to grab the footage, but we'll warn you in advance that the start of the clip caught us off guard, so the beginning of our video is a bit shaky.

Winning Eleven 9 is a big title for the PSP. It's so big, in fact, that Sony and Konami have timed its release to coincide with the release of the ceramic white PSP on 9/15, an honor usually reserved for the biggest titles.
