Nintendo Australia Ropes in Kieren Perkins

That national treasure, that record-breaking master of the pool, that prime example of the limits of human endurance - he's taken out commies and terrorists using nothing more than his charm and allure - he is Kieren Perkins.

The US of A might have Aussie Nicole Kidman promoting DS and More Brain Training over there, but we have our world champion swimmer Kieren Perkins and his wife Symantha promoting the release of the next Brain Training game in Australia, which is out from today for AU$49.95.

Swimmer, Kieren Perkins, won two Olympic gold medals in the 1500m, the first in Barcelona in 1992 and the second in Atlanta 1996, as well as a silver medal in 2000 in Sydney. Making Perkins the first Australian male swimmer to medal at 3 consecutive Olympic Games. Perkins, a well known media personality, is a board member of Swimming Australia, an Executive Board member of the World Olympians Association and a board member of the Australian Sports Commission. Perkins was awarded an OAM in 1993 and spends countless hours supporting charity's including Starlight Foundation where he is a board member. He is also listed by the National Trust as an Australian Living Treasure.
