Red and Black for Brain Age 2

Nintendo will release a new color Nintendo DS Lite for the launch of its smart sequel.

Nintendo of America's ready to launch the follow-up to last year's casual hit that made thousands of casual gamers smarter: Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day is set for release on August 21st, and Nintendo has revealed that not only will it be released as a standalone game for $19.99, it will also ship with an exclusive Nintendo DS Lite system color.

The Brain Age 2 bundle will feature the game plus a dual-hue DS Lite: One half will be crimson red, the other onyx black...possibly done in celebration of the way Brain Age 2 works both halves of one's brain. Or maybe they just had some extra red and black paint laying around.

Either case, the bundle will be available with the launch of Brain Age 2, on August 21st for $149.99.

Keen IGN readers might recall an IGN "joke" article run on April 1st, 2004 of a Game Boy Advance featuring a similar color scheme.
