July NPDs Surface

July NPD numbers are in, and as expected, The Sims 3 tops the list. Various World of Warcraft expansions pepper the top 10 list while Nancy Drew: Ransom of the Seven Ships unexpectedly took third place. And in more good news for EA, Spore and its expansion pack, Galactic Adventures, netted the fifth and seventh spot, respectively. Below are the top 10 selling PC games for the month of July.

2. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King

3. Nancy Drew: Ransom Of The Seven Ships

4. World Of Warcraft: Battle Chest

5. Spore

6. The Sims 2 Double Deluxe

7. Spore Galactic Adventures Expansion Pack

8. Empire: Total War

9. Warcraft III Battle Chest

10. World Of Warcraft

I knew the Sims were popular, but even Sims 2 Double Deluxe charted when the new Sims 3 was out! And with three spots of its own, WoW isn't doing so badly either. Of course, I'll have to say that NPDs don't take into account digital sales, but even if they did, would the list look that much different?
