Sony Looking Into Firmware 3.0 Issues

Company hopes to have a solution as soon as possible.

PlayStation 3 owners who recently downloaded the newest 3.0 firmware update may have run into a few software issues, particularly with Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Plenty of users are reporting the game is now freezing periodically and reached an unplayable state.

But don't worry, fans. Sony recognizes there is an issue and hopes to have a solution for you soon.

"SCEA is aware of reports that PS3 owners are experiencing isolated issues with their PS3 system since installing the most recent system software update (v3.00)," said Patrick Seybold, Sr. Communications Director at SCEA, on the official blog.

"Rest assured that we are looking into the matter and will provide an update here as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, as it's our mission to deliver the best consumer experience on all PlayStation platforms."
